Janette has spoken up about the medical therapy she has been told will be the safest option for bringing her baby into the world after learning that she will be due this summer.
She alleges that she was recommended to have a C-section since the pair seemed to have a “bigger than typical size child.”
Despite the looming operation, Janette is “very comfortable” about the birth since “you can’t plan everything.”
‘I feel really relaxed about it all. You really can’t plan everything because there are so many variables and I’m kind of open to all the different options and scenarios,’ she continued.
‘So, I’m not trying to lock in a certain date or procedure, because you just never really know how it’s going to happen until the baby comes. And I think having that kind of openness in my thoughts has actually kept me quite calm.’
She also stated that she is’really loving being pregnant,’ mostly because she enjoys her bump and seeing her ‘figure evolve and expand.’
Janette and Aljaz, who has admitted to sobbing every day in anticipation of becoming a father, recently offered fans a behind-the-scenes look at their baby during a 4D ultrasound exam.
The couple may see their kid squirming around on screen as well as their features on a 4D image on the monitor during the medical exam.
In a caption explaining what the couple was doing, the TV star highlighted: ‘In a room with Three Cubans this morning #siii [sic].’
Janette and Aljaz, Janette’s mother and father-to-be, met in 2010 while performing in the live dance event Burn The Floor, and they married seven years later in 2017.
They appeared on Strictly for several years before Janette left the programme in 2021 to host the spin-off It Takes Two, and Aljaz left the dancefloor last year.
