Amber Wise of Love Island has told the islanders all about her renowned father, Dennis Wise.
Amber, 19, joined the villa as part of the Casa Amor group, with Molly Marsh, whose homecoming hasn’t been warmly received by fans.
Outside of the villa, her father is Chelsea FC great Dennis Wise, which surprised semi-professional footballer Tyrique Hyde, 24.
Tyrique questioned Amber why she is a Chelsea supporter in a preview of Monday night’s programme.
Needless to say, he was taken aback by her remark.
‘My dad played for Chelsea,’ she said.
Tyrique was impressed and inquired who her father was, and was taken aback when she told he was a former England star.
‘Your dad’s Dennis Wise? Is he actually?’ gasped Tyrique.
‘That’s sick…I can see the resemblance. He’s not bad looking though, he’s a good looking geezer! You’re pretty as well…’
Amber isn’t the only new islander with famous ties.
Abi Moores, 25, told the audience how she grew up riding horses with Princes Harry and William and had no idea it wasn’t the norm.
‘I had horses…I used to live in Sandhurst, where the Royal Military Academy is,’ she told Mitchel Taylor, 26.
‘I used to keep my horse there and when I was younger, I didn’t know this was weird but Prince Harry and Prince William would be there…I literally had no clue that people didn’t know them too.’
