Piers Morgan got more than he bargained for yesterday on a lunchtime walk.
A man named Ross accosted the TalkTV host in the street, and let’s just say Ross isn’t a fan.
When he saw the famous broadcaster, ‘Ross’ began constantly shouting ‘d***head’ at him.
When asked why he believed Piers was a ‘d***head,’ Ross said it was because he didn’t like the way the presenter interacted with people.
Piers then reported that the Ross in issue ‘walked off shouting “D***HEAD!” at the top of his lungs, playing on the comedy of the scenario.
‘Just met a very angry little man called Ross who repeatedly called me a “d***head,”‘ the 58-year-old wrote on Twitter of the incident.
‘And when I asked him why he thought this, he replied: “I don’t like the way you talk to people.” Then he walked off shouting “D*CKHEAD!” at the top of his voice,’ Piers recounted.
But Ross is not the only one who has criticised the controversial TV personality; earlier this year, his comments regarding Madonna were dubbed “misogynistic” and “sexist.”
Piers jumped to Twitter shortly after Madonna announced her huge global tour, writing, ‘I think Madonna’s become the biggest cringe-making debacle in world entertainment.’
Later on Uncensored, Piers labelled the pop star a “hot mess” who “should be put out to pasture,” and chastised her for “trying to be a sex kitten when you’re in your 60s.”
Piers rushed off the set of Good Morning Britain in March 2021 following a furious debate with Alex Beresford about Meghan Markle, in what would be a dramatic exit from a show he’d helmed for six years.
Piers called Alex a ‘treacherous little p***k’ only last week, proving there was no love lost between the two.
‘And so at that time, I thought there are two things that are going to happen here,’ Piers remarked in a BBC interview, describing his thought process during the argument around the Duchess’ Oprah Winfrey appearance, in which he was not team Meghan.
‘Either I’m going to lose my rag and do something I regret – or I’m going to go and walk off.’
‘I don’t like to think about what I would have done. I was certainly looking at him thinking “Yeah I better leave the room”.’
He added: ‘Just for the record, I think he was a treacherous little p***k. So he can say what he likes about me. He absolutely has a right to his opinion. That is my opinion about him.’
Piers also referred to Will Smith hitting Chris Rock at the Oscars, and claimed that if Alex hadn’t walked out, he would have done the same.
