Bre Tiesi, star of Selling Sunset, has supported Nick Cannon, who is now the father of 12 children and is not paying her child support.
The 42-year-old fathers his eighth kid with the Los Angeles model, who was named as the newest member of The Oppenheim Group just six weeks after giving birth in season six of the Netflix reality series.
Legendary Love Cannon was born in July 2022, just months before Nick’s fourth kid that year.
Bre, 32, has been upfront about her connection with her baby daddy on Selling Sunset, raving about his’super sperm’ while also being called out for’monogamy’ by Chelsea Lazkani.
Bre discloses to colleague real estate agent Amanza Smith that she doesn’t ‘need’ Nick during a conversation.
‘I take care of myself,’ she says.
‘If my son needs something, or we need something, I ask, that’s all I have to do.
‘I know he’s a good dad, and Nick is not my sugar daddy, Nick is not the reason I am where I’m at.’
She adds: ‘I can make crazy money by myself, I can carry my lifestyle, which is not cheap.’
‘What do I need you for? I can buy a vibrator,’ Bre jokes to Amanda, before the conversation turns to ‘financial independence’.
‘I definitely strive to be the best at everything, to the point where I drive myself insane, but I’ve worked my ass off to be where I’m at,’ she later adds in a confessional.
‘I did this all myself, and of course, my son is even more motivation, I want to give him everything from me, not from my partner.’
Amanda then asks Bre whether it’s ‘real’ that Nick doesn’t have to pay child support after 10 children.
‘That’s true,’ she replies.
‘The way it works is like, after ten, the court can basically say he can’t afford to pay child support.
‘Or because he is who he is, they can say we know you can afford X amount, for each “household”.’
Selling Sunset is available to watch on Netflix.
