In an unexpected social media post over the weekend, Les Dennis appeared to mock his ex-wife Amanda Holden.
The couple married in 1995 but divorced in 2000 when Amanda’s affair with actor Neil Morrissey became public.
Les, 69, and Amanda, 52, divorced in 2003, with Amanda marrying husband Chris Hughes, 69, in 2008, and Les married Claire Nicholson, 50, the following year.
In a recent social media post, Les appears to have taken aim at Holden.
Amanda recently uploaded photos from a trip to Paris, including one in which the Capital FM Breakfast anchor looked lovely in a red outfit while seated at a bar.
The star can be seen sipping a cocktail in the picture, captioned: ‘Sortie sortie #Paris #schoolmums.’
Following the post, Les amused himself by taking images of himself facing away from the camera in the same stance as his ex-wife.
‘Not in Paris. In Leicester,’ he wrote in the Twitter post as he posed in his slightly less luxurious dressing room while touring then UK with musical 42nd Street.
There appears to be no ill will between the two, with Les previously laughing about Amanda’s infidelity, which caused their breakup.
Speaking on the Show and Tell podcast with Christopher Biggins, Les spoke about starring in pantomimes alongside late actor Mickey Rooney and how theatres would play Christmas songs, including Frank Sinatra’s Have Yourself A Merry Christmas.
However, this didn’t go over well, with Mickey, as Les explained: ‘Mickey would get very angry, because of course, Frank Sinatra ran off with Ava Gardner (Mickey’s wife).’
He joked: ‘It would’ve been like me having to listen to Bob The Builder every night,’ referring to the fact Neil voiced the famous animated character for 14 years.
Amanda has previously discussed the dissolution of her marriage, claiming that she ‘brought it on [herself].’
‘I brought it on myself, I appreciate that, but nothing will ever be as bad again,’ she told The Daily Mail.
‘It was a very dark time. It got to the point where I felt I could hardly breathe.
‘Les proved to be my saviour. Ironically. So the person I’d hurt the most in the world was the one who was there for me.’
Neil acknowledged for his role in the affair during an interview on Piers Morgan‘s Life Stories in 2014, claiming he was sorry for how he ‘handled the issue.’
‘I feel sorry for how emotional Les seemed to become. It was very difficult for him and for that I’m very sorry,’ he continued.
