A lady who phoned in ill for work prepared ahead and disguised herself to attend a Taylor Swift performance in case she was captured on video.
Which she was, and which has now gone viral.
The woman and her identically dressed pal travelled from Louisville to Cincinnati and were waiting for items when the local station’s cameras recorded her.
She disguised herself with a blanket, similar to a Halloween ghost outfit, and completed the look with a pair of sunglasses.
‘I almost named my daughter’s middle name Taylor,’ the superfan explained.
She went on: ‘I’m taking an 11-year-old little girl, it’s her first time.
‘I went to the show in Nashville, so it’s more for her.’
As the interview came to an end, the reporter added: ‘We’re going to cross our fingers that work doesn’t find out, right?’
‘No they’re not,’ the disguised woman agreed.
The lengths the lady went to for the event and to conceal her identity had viewers in stitches.
One person said: ‘Never have I ever laughed so hard… the sunglasses are so unnecessary, but iconic. Whoever she is, I adore her.’
‘I just got concert tickets and am considering doing the same thing if they don’t give me the day off for it,’ another penned.
One wrote: ‘I love that she had to wear sunglasses too as the blanket wasn’t enough to confuse me.’
‘It’s also a reference for Taylor’s Anti-hero song video where the ghosts are wearing sunglasses,’ someone else pointed out.
Another said: ‘In case anyone is curious, Taylor Swift concerts are essentially a costume party for Swifties. This costume here is from the Anti-Hero music video.’
