A new series of Strictly Come Dancing officially ushers in cosy Saturday nights.
The new series of Strictly began with a special pre-recorded launch show last week, and the live shows kicked off on Saturday, during which our new couples danced together for the first time.
With the return of the competition, Strictly’s companion show It Takes Two is back on our TV screens, too.
But what time does it start, and who’s presenting this year?
When does It Takes Two return?
It Takes Two returns tonight (Monday, September 26), airing at 6.30pm on BBC Two.
You can watch It Takes Two every weeknight – so, Monday to Friday – leading up to the live Saturday shows and Sunday night results shows.
If you miss an episode, fear not – as you can catch up with the programme on BBC iPlayer once it’s aired.
Who is presenting It Takes Two?
TV presenter Rylan Clark is back alongside ex-Strictly dancer Janette Manrara.
Originally, Zoe Ball co-hosted with Rylan, but confirmed in 2021 that she’d be leaving after 10 years – and it was soon announced that Manrara would take over the vacant role.
Manrara said last year upon the announcement: ‘It’s a dream come true to become part of the It Takes Two team!
‘Although it’s impossible to fill in the shoes of a legend like Zoe Ball, I hope to make her and all of the Strictly fans proud.
‘I will miss dancing on that iconic dancefloor weekly, but [am] forever grateful to continue being a part of the Strictly Come Dancing family!’
Previously, Manrara had been part of Strictly’s professional dancer line-up since 2013, partnering with celebrities including Jake Wood, Peter Andre and Melvin Odoom.
Her husband, Aljaž Škorjanec, was also one of the professional dancers on the show. He announced his own departure in March 2022.
It Takes Two airs at 6.30pm every weeknight on BBC Two.
