This year’s Royal Variety Performance features a very unique emcee, who is obviously one of the greatest personalities on British television.
Last year, comic heavyweight Lee Mack hosted, with David Baddiel, Frank Skinner, and an homage to the late Queen performing.
Viewers of the annual variety event will be delighted to see favourite host Bradley Walsh take the stage at London’s The Royal Albert Hall.
Bradley, 63, will have to wow the Royal Family at the occasion after frequently moving fans to tears with his hilarious abilities on The Chase.
He shared: ‘I am so excited to be presenting this year’s show. It’s been 30 years this year since I first performed at The Royal Variety Performance, so what an absolute honour to be hosting.
‘The line-up is incredible and I can’t wait for you all to see what I have in store.’
The British veteran wasn’t kidding when he boasted about the line-up, which would include multi-award winning superstar Cher – year, you read that right, Cher.
To get everyone in the holiday spirit, the 77-year-old will sing a song from her new Christmas album.
In celebration of the studio’s 100th anniversary, a medley from the casts of The Lion King, Frozen, Aladdin, Hercules, and Beauty & The Beast will be performed.
Musical performances include McFly, Rick Astley, Zara Larsson, Paloma Faith, and Hannah Waddingham, who will be backed by the ENO choir. This might be one of the strongest lineups in years.
Beverley Knight will star among the ensemble of Sister Act, while Britain’s Got Talent winner Viggo Venn will join a slew of comic talent.
We can’t wait for this year’s excellent lineup – Bradley, you’re going to kill it.
The Royal Variety Performance will air in December on ITV.
