As the finale of The Apprentice 2023 approaches, Rochelle Raye Anthony and Marnie Swindells are preparing to give it their best in one final job.
Nevertheless, there’s a danger that having too many cooks in the kitchen would cause turmoil, when dismissed applicant Dani Donovan returns to offer a helping hand.
In the final episode, Rochelle and Marnie are challenged to launch the enterprises in which they want Lord Alan Sugar to invest £250,000, demonstrating why they deserve to be his next partner.
It’s a fan-favorite episode, with familiar guests returning to help the finalists develop their identities and create advertising.
Nevertheless, in an exclusive film provided by Metro.co.uk, Rochelle appears to be wary about allowing companion Dani to take over directorial responsibilities too much.
The preview shows the ladies on set for Rochelle’s commercial, which features her hair extensions.
Victoria Goulbourne, a semi-finalist, also returns to flaunt the gorgeous hair, swishing her golden tresses around for the camera.
And, although Rochelle is quite content to give Victoria instructions, Dani is also vying for power.
Rochelle expresses her desire for the commercial to be “serious,” while Dani encourages Victoria not to “turn around so much.”
Dani sighs deeply and takes notes on the modifications that are being made.
Chatting individually mid-filming, Rochelle begins: ‘So, the team is working really well together.
‘Dani is directing.’
On not wanting to give Dani too much control, she adds: ‘I do have a tendency to drop in.
‘But, this is my baby and it has to be perfect.’
‘Shall I do the blowing?’, Dani is then asks eagerly, as Rochelle makes a wind machine on a budget with hairdryers to give the ad a luxurious feel.
‘No, you’re the director,’ Rochelle shuts down, leaving Dani stumped.
Speaking ahead of the episode airing, salon owner Rochelle said: ‘I am so privileged and proud to be a finalist, it’s been such a rollercoaster of a journey.’
The 35-year-old continued: ‘But this is my chance to put my business and industry on a platform and show everyone what I am made of and do the pitch of my life, I am so ready, bring it on.’
Court advocate and gold-medal winning boxer Marnie added: ‘I am so happy to be in the final after 11 weeks of hard work and having to pitch everybody else’s products on tasks.’
‘This is now my opportunity to showcase what I’ve been working on and give my business the platform it deserves,’ added the fellow finalist.
Yet only one person can walk away with Lord Sugar’s money… Who is it going to be?
The Apprentice final episode will air on Thursday, March 23 at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
