The former Chicago Bulls player, who has two children with Khloe, True, 5, and Tatum, 1, thanked the family for their support during the transition in the season three finale of The Kardashians, which aired last Thursday. This moved Kris, 67, to tears.
‘You know your mom had a lot on her plate, and to be able to be Amari’s sole caregiver like really affected me so much, and that just broke my heart because Amari doesn’t know what’s going on, and then all of a sudden you’re stripped from the caretaker you’ve had your whole life,’ said an emotional Kris.
‘I just feel so lost for him because he’s probably wondering where his mommy went, and it breaks my heart.’
Once more thanking the grandmother of his children, Tristan said that they were taking each day as it came.
Khloe and Tristan began dating in 2016 and had their daughter, True, two years later. However, their relationship ended after the NBA player committed adultery when Khloe was pregnant.
Before their relationship collapsed once more when the father of four later kissed Jordyn Woods on a night out, they were able to work out their problems.
They got back together during the pandemic and intended to begin the surrogacy process to welcome their second kid, but everything fell apart when it was revealed that he had secretly fathered a child with Maralee.
They soon drifted apart, but this summer they welcomed Tatum into the family, and they have remained close to co-parent their children ever since.
Sharing an update on their bond in an earlier episode of the Kardashians, Khloe told mom Kris Jenner: ‘Him and I have a great friendship relationship. We get along fine and for my kids, I will put anything to the side.
