Katie Price was reported to the RSPCA by a worried Mucky Mansion watcher after she was recorded applying spray paint near a cat.
Katie continues to remodel her formerly uninhabitable residence in West Sussex in the second season of her series.
The 19-room property in Dial Post’s small settlement is surrounded by 10 acres, but it was called Mucky Mansion when it fell into disrepair and became a target of vandalism.
While Katie is keen to make it her family’s home, one of her DIY projects enraged several viewers when she failed to consider potential hazards to one of her dogs.
Katie, 44, was spraying pink spray paint outside as a cat was nearby in one of the most recent occurrences.
One viewer, however, resorted to social media to criticise her conduct.
‘Beyond stupid Katie Price. First you don’t care about your own health, spraying without a mask,’ they began.
‘Then her helpless kitten walks through the paint and she says “get out cat I don’t want hairs in the paint”.
‘RSPCA please give the idiot guidance on animals and how not to poison them!’
As someone else pointed out, Katie has already had ‘six pets die under her care’.
The original poster then added that she ‘should have a lifelong ban’.
However, a representative for Katie Price told The Sun: ‘I’ll be honest I don’t take much notice in regards to what pets Kate has…as far as I know there isn’t a new cat.’
Criticism of Katie’s animal care came after more than 26,000 people signed a petition titled ‘Stop Katie Price from buying any more animals’ to try to prevent her from acquiring pets following a string of six unfortunate deaths.
The description of the three-year-old petition reads: ‘In the last five years more animals have died from lack of care. Horses, dogs, cats, lizards and hedgehogs. This isn’t a single family tragedy.’
‘It’s a common thing in Katie Price’s home,’ it continued.
‘She jokes about her mucky mansion. But it ain’t a joke that animals are dying from her lack of care.’
The mother of five has a complicated past with pets, including her Alsatian, Sparkle, being murdered by a car after escaping her home and running out onto a major road in 2020, and her pet Queenie getting run over by a pizza delivery truck.
In the same accident, one of her horses was killed.
Rolo, Princess’s dog, supposedly choked to death in 2021 after being crushed in an electric recliner in a terrible accident after allegedly being left unattended.
Her chameleon Marvin died of a ‘broken heart,’ while her ex-fiancé Carl Woods gave her a French Bulldog named Precious on their 6-month anniversary.
They did, however, give the dog to a crew member after less than a year of caring for her.
She had also previously given away two of her pets, Hagrid and Dobby.
Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion is streaming on Channel 4.
