Janette Manrara was all smiles as she showed off her growing baby belly in a picture on Thursday.
The Strictly Come Dancing judge was getting ready for her appearance on BBC Morning Live in a gorgeous leopard print outfit with a freshly-cut bob.
The 39-year-old also looked stunning with berry lipstick as she posted the shot on Instagram with the comment, ‘Back in the swivel chair.’
She and her fellow Strictly professional dancer husband, Alja korjanec, 33, revealed their pregnancy on social media on Sunday.
‘We’re overjoyed to share our exciting news!’ Janette wrote this next to a photo of the couple embracing her tummy.
The couple found out she was expecting in December, which came as a great and joyful surprise.
They were ready to begin IVF treatment after attempting to conceive for two years when the pregnancy occurred on its own.
Baby Manrara-korjanec is expected in the summer, after the couple stated that they would let ‘the universe’ decide their future family plans.
Speaking of their exciting news, Janette said: ‘For the past couple of years we hadn’t been using protection but nothing was happening, so we thought IVF was the next best thing for us to do.’
She added to Hello! Magazine: ‘I know that IVF can be really strenuous on a woman’s body and there is no guarantee it will work, so to know that this little miracle just came from a wonderful night we had together is amazing.
‘I think the baby decided to make mum and dad panic a bit before saying, “ok, fine, I’m coming up now”.’
Alja, 33, said he was “beside himself” following their 12-week scan since they had “mentally and physically” prepared for IVF.
‘I have so much regard for any parent who goes through IVF, not just for what it puts them through physically, but also for what it puts them through emotionally,’ he added.
The dancers, who married in 2017, have been Strcitly regulars for many years, with Janette transitioning to a presenting role in 2021, replacing Zoe Ball in the line-up for sister programme It Takes Two, and Aljaž leaving the main series last year.
