Holly Willoughby sent a cryptic message about ‘fear and rejection’ after returning to Dancing on Ice.
The 42-year-old broadcaster has not been on television since October of last year, when she abruptly left her daytime presenting post on This Morning.
Following her decision to leave the breakfast show after 14 years, there was speculation she might not return to the reality competition series, which she began presenting in 2006.
She did, however, team up with Stephen Mulhern after the departure of former co-host Phillip Schofield.
However, in the previous two weeks, the series’ viewership has dropped by 500,000 compared to last year’s premiere episode when it debuted.
Holly has now sent a mysterious message on social media ahead of the new show.

On Thursday, Holly posted an astrological message on the significance of ‘loving yourself’ on her Wylde Moon brand’s Instagram account, coinciding with the first full moon in 2024.
‘What the Full Wolf Moon in fierce Leo tells us is not to let fear or rejection rule decisions,’ the post began.
‘She encourages you to remember who you truly are to love yourself and to channel that love back out into the world, for now is the time to be unapologetically you. Embrace. Supercharge. Radiate.’
Reiterating the message, Holly captioned the post: ‘It’s time to welcome the first Full Moon of the year. When the Wolf Moon meets Leo’s vibrant energy, it brings a surge of passion and self-expression.’
It builds on a similar piece Holly made last week, in which she discussed ‘blossoming in dark times’.
Over a picture of two moonflowers in full bloom, the post read: ‘The moonflower has become a symbol of blossoming in dark times.
‘These fragrant, white flowers have evolved over millions of years to open only at night and their ethereal, nocturnal beauty is a powerful symbol of how resilience, strength and growth can flourish during the darkest and most challenging moments.’
Ahead of the Dancing on Ice premiere, This Morning threw its support behind Holly, sharing a photo of her and Stephen on Instagram, writing it was ‘great to see her back on screens where she belongs’.
Dancing On Ice airs Sundays at 6:20pm on ITV1.
