Ant and Dec gave everyone a sun-kissed afternoon Thursday by releasing a surprise music video, and now their fans want them back at number one.
The TV hosts, both 48, travelled back 30 years to their days as PJ & Duncan, reliving their 1994 hit Eternal Love along the way.
After breaking out as members of the Byker Grove group, the duo enjoyed a successful pop career under their previous personas, earning their biggest hit with Let’s Get Ready to Rhumble.
And the duo took a journey down memory lane, all the way back to the Byker days, by recreating the Eternal Love music video and sharing the results on social media.
Whereas the first film was set in a chilly, deserted house with Ant and Dec wearing plush winter garments beside a raging fireplace, the revised video features the two wearing Hawaiian shirts and sunning themselves under palm palms.

Because it’s Ant and Dec, the brief film couldn’t be complete without a few laughs, with the duo failing to play paddleball on the beach, smelling one other’s suntan lotion, and hanging in a hammock. Aw.
It’s been enough for some fans to desire Eternal Love back in the charts – and not just that, but to beat its original chart position and reach number one.
On X, one user, Gem Tollerfield, said: ‘Let’s get Eternal Love to number one!’
Meanwhile, a second user, Jennie Rose, commented: ‘Who votes that they should bring this out as a single again? I reckon number 1!’
Another PJ & Duncan enthusiast, Wayne, urged the boys to do a full re-release: ‘Come on, this needs re-releasing and let’s get it to number one, even if they do it for charity. Think the country could do with a bit of fun lately.’

Even Radio 2 DJ and TV personality Rylan was convinced, telling the pair that he’d ‘had dreams like this’, so who knows – if Rylan can get behind the campaign, may we see PJ & Duncan return to the top?
Despite never reaching number one during their peak in the 1990s, Let’s Get Ready to Rhumble rose to the top of the charts in 2013, 19 years after its original release.
This was due to the Geordie pair playing the song live on Saturday Night Takeaway at the time, as part of a large reunion special involving 90s and 2000s pop artists Five, Atomic Kitten, and Blue.
Immediately following the performance, Ant jokingly vowed to ‘never again’ play Let’s Get Ready to Rhumble in public, but if he’s willing to bring back Eternal Love, a complete PJ & Duncan remake may not be long behind.
