Celebrity Hunted viewers were left shocked when Lisa Maffia managed to escape from the Hunters – after performing on stage at a festival.
The So Solid Crew star took part in the Channel 4 series with teammate Chizzy Akudolu, for Stand Up To Cancer.
Despite needing to keep a low profile, the 42-year-old wasn’t keen on turning her back on a previously agreed appearance – and performed on stage in Bristol in front of adoring fans.
Yes, seriously.
The second her set ended, the 21 Seconds rapper was smuggled into the back of a car and taken out of the area, managing to evade capture.
She was later able to reunite with Chizzy and they sought shelter in a friend’s house, with many watching on from home baffled as to how Lisa wasn’t captured.
Flocking to Twitter, one posted: ‘Lisa Mafia being on Channel Four’s Hunted then taking a break to perform at a festival is top level s**thousery #CelebrityHunted.’
‘What muppets the hunters are…. Stop the cars but don’t look in the boot,’ another agreed.
‘Lisa 1 Muppets 0 #celebrityhunted #hunted.’
‘Why didn’t the hunters catch Lisa when she was on the stage #celebrityhunted,’ a viewer questioned.
‘What a brazen and b****y move from Lisa #CelebrityHunted,’ a Twitter user praised, as a follower penned: ‘Amateurs. Never assume. Arse kicked. #celebrityhunted.’
‘#celebrityhunted I’m sure the hunters used to be better than this,’ a viewer joked.
Unfortunately, the team’s luck ran out as they bedded down at a friend’s home, with the Hunters outside.
Chizzy sacrificed herself in a bid to distract the team for Lisa’s escape, with the musician initially laying low in the loft before she was finally caught.
This leaves the Vivienne and Chloe Veitch, and Iwan Thomas and Richard Whitehead, still on the run.
Made In Chelsea’s Ollie Locke and husband Gareth were the first to be captured by the team.
Celebrity Hunted continues on Sunday at 9pm on Channel 4.
