When a crew worker was captured on video dashing in with a cup of tea, BBC Breakfast viewers were quick to notice a behind-the-scenes error.
Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt were hosting the show on Friday when the camera moved to weatherman Matt Taylor – or so they thought.
‘Let’s chat to Matt, see what’s going on with the weather, it’s foggy there,’ Naga, 48, said.
The camera turned to Matt presenting in front of the weather screen, where he began detailing the prediction for the day.
However, it looked that the incorrect camera was turned back to Naga and Charlie, showing a guy sneaking across the studio with a neatly balanced coffee on his notepad.
He looked to be going to give Naga or her co-host a new brew when a different viewpoint caught up on Matt and his prognosis once more.
‘I love it when you go a bit behind the scenes,’ one viewer wrote. I’ve often wondered how the @BBCBreakfast presenters manage to get up so early.
‘A constant supply of tea or coffee is clearly one of the key things! Is it for @TVNaga01 or Charlie?’
Another wrote: ‘@BBCBreakfast#BBCBreakfast So that’s how tea is served on set !’
Noticing the way it was being served, someone else said: ‘Does the tea man on @BBCBreakfast not have a tray? Give him a tray, not the script.’

@BBCBreakfast @TVNaga01 morning, I hope the tea boy that we all saw bringing in refreshments gets a mention live on air! Maybe a big 'Thank you'!

The BBC has made a number of gaffes in recent weeks, including newsreader Lukwesa Burak not noticing she was still on live while relaxing with a ‘big stretch’ and technical glitches that left one studio in the dark.
Viewers also noticed an unpleasant gaffe in the backdrop of Ben Brown’s News at One story, when a lady was captured photographing the studio behind him.
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays from 6am on BBC One.
