Will Young of Love Island has a weird behaviour around fiancée Jessie Wynter, which he acknowledges is a ‘beige flag.’
Don’t worry if you don’t understand what he’s saying; beige flag is a dating word that has just lately gained popularity. It simply indicates a tendency that a spouse or potential mate has that isn’t certainly a negative like a red flag but isn’t necessarily a positive like a green flag.
Will, 23, has self-diagnosed himself with one owing to his propensity of kneeling.
The Buckinghamshire farmer posted a video of himself ‘faking proposing’ to Jessie, whom he met on the ITV dating programme, in several locales.
‘My beige flag is that I fake propose whenever we get a random person to take our picture,’ he wrote.
‘I think if I carry on fake proposing Jessie won’t believe me when it’s the real deal.’
Luckily, Jessie, 26, shared his unique sense of humour and commented with three laughing emojis.
The couple met on the winter version of Love Island earlier this year and placed fifth, almost missing out on the final.
Fans who watched the pair fall in love on TV urged Will to do it for real in the comments section.
‘Don’t fake propose, just do it!!!,’ wrote one person.
Another added: ‘Please marry her I love you two.’
Others told Will that his fears may come true.
‘My partner used to wind me up about proposing and when he did ask… I didn’t believe him.’
When it comes to the real stuff, he’ll just have to go big!
The pair has lately been throughout Australia visiting Jessie’s family.
Jessie was brought to the hospital earlier this month with an unknown sickness, and she subsequently revealed she was spiked.
‘I wasn’t sure if I should post this since I felt so ashamed, however the other night I was sadly sent to hospital after my drink was tainted,’ she said, sharing photos of herself laying in a hospital bed.
‘I was so lucky that I was with Will and he looked after me throughout the whole time especially because it was so scary.’
