Ulrika Jonsson, who is never hesitant when it comes to sex talk, has admitted she isn’t feeling very joyful this Christmas since she isn’t getting any action at the moment.
Despite her menopausal therapy, the TV host, 56, has previously stated that she is still as frisky as ever – but this hasn’t translated into a Christmas romance.
The outspoken TV star is feeling ‘lonely’ this Christmas without someone to hold, after declaring herself a Grinch and a Scrooge in the face of her disastrous dating life.
‘This year is a whole new bucket of agony,’ Ulrika, who has never suffered with love, wrote for Fabulous Magazine. Christmas and I had a tremendous quarrel.’
In September, she admitted that a date with a possible suitor had gone sour when he didn’t react well to her having children, and that he wouldn’t have gone on the date if he had known.
She rushed to Instagram to express how unhappy the guy was that a lady in her 50s, who had previously been married three times, would have a teenage kid at home.
Ulrika added in her anti-Christmas diatribe, “To add insult to my Christmas misery, I am still a Single Pringle.” I’ve never felt more away from a delectable snog beneath the mistletoe in my life.’
Her disinterest in the holiday season isn’t just due to her single status or the idea of living a “sad and lonely life with only two idiot bulldogs for company.”
She expressed her weariness with the holiday season and the demands to have a flawless day, conceding that her standards may have been self-imposed.
What she calls the “excessive hype” around Christmas has become too much for the Celebs Go Dating star to bear, especially without a special someone there.
She will, of course, be accompanied by her family, which includes sons Cameron Oskar George Turnbull, 28, and Malcolm Monet, 15, as well as daughters Bo Eva Coeur, 23, and Martha Sky Hope Gerrard-Wright, 19.
Ulrika married three times, first to John Turnbull in 1990, then to Lance Gerrard-Wright in 2003, but they divorced three years later.
She married Brian Monet in 2011, but they divorced in 2019, despite co-parenting during the epidemic and beyond.
Her dating problem is undoubtedly not helped by the fact that she was just banned from Hinge.
Sharing an insight into her sex drive, the presenter previously revealed: ‘I genuinely still feel as naughty silly and ridiculous as I ever did. I’m having HRT [hormone replacement therapy] for the menopause, but it hasn’t impacted my sex life at all.’
‘I’m not ageist by any means. I’m an equal opportunities dater, so by all means, apply! I’m 55 now, but I feel rejuvenated and energetic,’ she said last year.
