Following Christine Quinn‘s shocking departure, the ladies of Selling Sunset have thrown down the gauntlet for season six.
After raising a lot of eyebrows and leaving viewers worried about the show’s future, the 34-year-old revealed at the conclusion of season five that she was quitting the Oppenheim Group.
Her former coworkers demonstrated that there is nothing to be concerned about in a new teaser for the upcoming series, which will be available on Netflix on May 19.
Mary Fitzgerald declared: ‘I don’t think I’ll really miss Christine so it’s for the best that she’s gone. But I am nervous about the new dynamic.’
Emma Hernan, who was seen tussling with Christine in recent years, told the camera: ‘I’m building an empire right now and I am not in competition with anybody besides myself.’
Chrishell Stause attacked the rumours concerning her personal life. She has been dating G-Flip for the past year in between seasons.
‘I know people think I’m having a midlife crisis but I’m having an awakening,’ she insisted.
The Selling Sunset newcomers Nicole Young and Bre Tiesi, who joined the cast last year, also made their debut for the fans.
Nicole, who has years of off-screen experience working for the O Group, declared: “I have $100 million in sales and counting.”
‘If someone were to get in the way of that, there’s going to be an issue.’
Bre added: ‘I’m kind of a mirror. Whatever you give me is what you’re going to get.
‘I mean business, I’m about my business and I am here to f**k this s**t up.’
We have a feeling that this season will be dramatic.
The teaser appears just after Christine shot down rumours that she could make a shock appearance in the Netflix series.
The first season of Selling Sunset, which aired in 2019, is where the real estate legend initially gained notoriety. She was recognised for both her distinctive style and her biting one-liners.
She left the Oppenheim Group at the conclusion of season five due to mounting turmoil, and she immediately launched her own company.
She refused outright when asked if she will come back while speaking to Entertainment Weekly.
‘Oh, my gosh, never. I would never come back in a million years,’ the mom-of-one said. ‘But that doesn’t mean I’m not going to do TV anymore. It doesn’t mean I’m not going to do fun things anymore.
‘But absolutely not. I mean, it’s… no. I have been asked by some of the girls like, “I have a birthday party. Can you please come to my birthday party?” And I’m like, “No, not in a million years.”’
Selling Sunset season six premieres on Netflix on May 19.
