Ekin-Su Cülcülolu and Davide Sanclimenti just broke up, so they probably wanted to stay away from each other for a while. However, things didn’t work out that way.
The winners of Love Island 2022 both went to the London opening of Barbie earlier this week, and it was strange to see each other again.
Davide said on Instagram at the end of last month that their 11-month relationship was over, so this is probably the first time they’ve been in the same place.
There’s never a good time to run into an ex, but we don’t think this is the worst time.
At least they both looked great, and it wasn’t at the local ASDA after the gym and right before it was time to wash their hair.
The worst thing about this place was that everyone was taking pictures and films because it was a big event.
This meant that Ekin-Su and Davide, who are both 28, were caught on camera when they met.
In the video that UK Travel took, Ekin-Su seems to be going about her business when she suddenly sees how close she is to her ex-boyfriend.
Then she flicks her hair and turns around as if to say “Oh wow.”
We love that Barbie, whose real name is Margot Robbie, is meeting fans and writing pictures without caring about what’s happening behind her.
Margot, who is 33 years old, is a big fan of Love Island. She stood for pictures with both Ekin-Su and Davide.
Ekin-Su told what they talked about when they weren’t standing for pictures.
‘So when Margot saw me, I was the biggest fan for her and she acted like she was a fan for me which I was even more overwhelmed with,’ she told BBC Newsbeat.
She also added that Margot said, ‘I can’t believe I’m meeting you’ to her.
Margot had said that Ekin-Su’s series was the best ever, and that was mostly because of what she did with Davide.
‘Paige [Thorne] has probably been my favourite — but for pure entertainment I think Davide and Ekin-Su have made the season,’ she said in response to being asked for her favourite islander.
