Vanessa Feltz found it difficult to believe Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field had sex so little these days.
Candy, 49, revealed that his libido plummeted after he stopped taking testosterone to manage his melancholy.
Everyone understands there is no sex after marriage, according to Robbie, who has four children with Ayda. That’s just the way things are. I was on testosterone for a time, but I had to quit because I’m an addict.’
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield discussed the Angels star’s accusation on Wednesday’s episode of This Morning.
‘I’m not sure I believe either of them,’ the TV personality, 61, quipped.
‘I love them both but I don’t believe a word of it… not a single blinking word of it, no way!’

She continued: ‘I just don’t think it’s true. I think he’s saying it for a laugh really.’
Holly quickly interjected: ‘I think quite often you never really know what’s going on inside, you can look at him and say “he was this big rock and roll star,” but then actually people can be very different behind closed doors.’
Vanessa was even more surprised when he said that he is just as comfortable eating a tangerine as he is having sex with his wife.
She said: ‘When she [Ayda] asks him “should we do sex?” and he says “I’m just eating this tangerine and just carries on peeling it, I just think…’
Opening up about their sex life, Ayda claimed that people often ‘confuse sex for intimacy.’
‘We are always cuddling and kissing, holding hands, and touching each other when we are just watching TV on the sofa, or a movie, or whatever,’ she said.
She also insisted that intimacy is ‘the important, meaningful side of love’ and said she felt ‘awful’ for friends of hers who ‘feel obliged to have sex with their husbands’.
‘Me and Rob are on the same page. We are happy,’ Ayda confirmed.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
