Oti Mabuse has revealed how she and her husband Marius Iepure announced their pregnancy to their closest relatives and friends… and the reactions are almost too good to be true.
On Saturday, the former Strictly Come Dancing star announced her pregnancy in a joyful Instagram post and live on her breakfast TV programme.
A day later, the 33-year-old shared a video on social media showing how her family and friends responded to the pregnancy announcement… You should have tissues on hand as well.
The compilation includes Oti’s sister, Strictly judge Motsi Mabuse, and professional dancer Nancy Xu, and their comments have filled our hearts with indescribable delight.
The video opened with Marius being given a positive pregnancy test to look at while in bed, to the tune of Victor Thompson’s This Year, while a smile appeared on his face.
On FaceTime chats, Oti exhibited her baby bulge to several people, with Motsi adoringly looking at her sister and brother-in-law.
One person was seen mouthing the words ‘oh my god’ in response to the news, while another stunned individual who found out in person proceeded to inspect Oti’s baby bulge.
When Oti told Strictly’s Nancy, the professional dancer’s jaw dropped to the floor in disbelief.
She immediately dashed over to Oti, wrapping her arms around her and sobbing.
Later in the video, Oti and Marius were joined by loved ones at a close-knit celebration, with the audience applauding the happy news.
The video concluded with a selfie taken by Oti of herself and Marius in the reflection of a mirror with their dog, with the pregnant woman’s bulge on full display in the stunning photo.
In her Instagram caption, she wrote: ‘Living in a different country as a couple means you don’t have family around to break the news face to face to.
‘And most often friends became family ❤️ we are so extremely lucky with our group of friends, disclaimer this isn’t all of them not enough video space 😂 but we kept our circle really tight, full of positive energy, laughter and joy 💕
‘Because that first and secondly trimester can we super super challenging 😥Really grateful 😇.’
Reacting to the video, Motsi commented underneath: ‘😢just cried again ❤️.’

Oti and Marius, a Romanian dancer, married in 2014 after meeting in Germany.
