After stepping out of her spanx after a night out at the Baftas, Ellie Taylor expressed a perfectly familiar emotion.
The Ted Lasso actress and comedian, who also competed on the past season of Strictly Come Dancing, attended the awards ceremony on Sunday at London’s Royal Festival Hall.
Ellie returned home after presenting the Daytime Award with actor Danny Dyer on the red carpet in a monochrome cape dress, and she kept fans informed on the remainder of her night.
Although she was eager to attend the event for the first time, she afterwards uploaded a butt-naked selfie on social media to illustrate how relieved she was to be out of her gown.
Ellie, 39, raised her arms in the air while posing with her back to the camera.
But being careful to protect her modesty, she placed a caption across her bum and wrote: ‘Home and spanx free.’
Soon after, Ellie shared her ‘feelings’ by posting a screenshot of her Five Guys Deliveroo order and explaining how she was dipping her fries right into her milkshake.
‘Inevitably now I feel sick. Cool, cool, cool,’ she later wrote.
Ellie, on the other hand, had to change back into her shapewear to go out, a move she said clashed with her previous takeaway order.
But once she was back at her hotel, Ellie made it clear that she had no intention of ever donning spanx again.
‘Back to hotel and I have no plans to wear these torture bastards for a very long time thanks (also am now hungry again and considering rifling through the discarded bag of Five Guys. I am equal parts disgusted with/ proud of myself),’ she captioned a post of her posing in front of the mirror in her underwear.
She later tweeted that she had returned for a second round, claiming that the chips ‘taste better after five hours in the rubbish’.
Her updates come after she revealed a humorous detail about her Bafta preparations, which included ‘cleaning pigeon s***’ off the trampoline before getting hair and make-up done.
Ellie’s hectic night out follows the announcement last week that she will be the next co-host of Bake Off: The Professionals.
She will replace Stacey Solomon as the show’s host for the upcoming eighth season.
‘From Ted Lasso to tiramisu – we’re delighted to welcome Ellie Taylor as our new co-host on Bake Off: The Professionals alongside Liam Charles,’ a post on the Great British Bake Off Twitter account read.
‘Pastry chefs beware – judges Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden are also back for pud!’
The new season is due to air sometime in the summer.
