Rachel Stevens‘ new boyfriend Brendyn Hatfield allegedly became a father shortly before beginning his relationship with the S Club singer.
Her Dancing on Ice partner appears to have had a kid with one of the ITV competition’s TV executives while dating the 45-year-old singer.
The claims came after the professional skater divorced his wife Jessica last year, just before his appearance on the programme with celebrity girlfriend Rachel in 2021.
There are now suspicions that the announcement may have an impact on Brendyn’s future on the programme.
An insider told The Sun: ‘Bosses remind skaters of their responsibilities before each series.
‘There will be long, hard discussions before Brendyn is confirmed for another series. His future is in the air.’
Meanwhile, Rachel and Brendyn’s romance looks to be blossoming, with rumours of the couple taking it to the next level and moving in together.
During the show’s hard preparation in November 2021, the pair rapidly connected and finished third overall.
Rachel disclosed earlier this year that she had moved out of her family home following her divorce from her long-term spouse Alex Bourne, with whom she had two kids.
In the Instagram update, she revealed: ‘Hey all. Hope you’re really well. What a week it’s been… sorry I’ve been MIA.
‘I’ve just moved home today and I’m up to my ears in boxes and feeling such a mix of emotions.
‘I’m so incredibly grateful for the love and support I have around me. Trusting the process and the magic of new beginnings.’
Rachel and Brendyn have not acknowledged their relationship, but the singer has stated that she is still in contact with her dancing partner.
When asked about her time on the show, she said: ‘I met incredible people. I still see Brendyn.’
