Married At First Sight UK stars Luke Worley and Jordan Gayle have made no secret of their dislike for one other, but their dislike has apparently reached new heights.
According to an observer, the grooms from the most recent E4 series got into a violent brawl at fashion company PrettyLittleThing’s Christmas party.
‘It was really shocking for everyone at the event to witness,’ the source recalled.
‘Jordan and Luke really brought down the tone of the evening.’
The source claimed to the Daily Mail that they started off standing at opposite sides of the room, but things got heated after a drink was thrown.
‘Luke ended up soaking wet after Jordan threw a drink over him, which caused a big commotion among guests.
‘Jordan and Luke started throwing punches at each other before being separated… and Jordan left soon after it happened.’
Neither has responded directly to the reports. Instead, Jordan posted an Instagram story photo of the celebration with the caption, ‘Great party .’
Luke, 31, was fired from MAFS after storming into Jordan’s flat and being hostile. Jordan, 26, had allegedly bad-mouthed him to his ‘wife’ Jay Howard, prompting the incursion.
This all happened when Luke was asked if he would cheat if he could do it without being discovered on a grooms’ day out.
He said: ‘All of us here, if I was to say to you you 100% will not get caught if you robbed a bank and got £10million, you would go out and rob a bank.’
This was relayed to Jay, who was irritated, prompting Luke to question Jordan about how he delivered the facts.
Before Luke, and therefore Jay, 31, were kicked out of the experiment, he apologised, but Jordan declined.
The bad vibes between the two persisted long after shooting ended, with the pair choosing to settle the score in an official boxing bout.
On February 9, the reality stars will square off at the Indigo at the O2 in London.
Erica Roberts, whom Jordan met on the series Strangers before marrying, is firmly in Jordan’s cause.
Despite the fact that the ceremony is not legally binding, the couples are sent on honeymoon before living live together and participating in weekly couple counselling. Since departing, they’ve continued to make it work as a pair, even going on a trip to Winter Wonderland.
‘Here we go ,’ wrote Erica in response to the announcement.
Luke is no longer with his partner Jay despite leaving the experiment together.
‘To this day I feel we both don’t really know what went wrong,’ Luke shared on Instagram.
Although, they are now on good terms: ‘I’m thankful for Jay for being there when I needed her, she has always been supportive throughout and since the experiment. She is a true gift that lights up any room.’
Married at First Sight is available to watch on Channel 4.
