During Sunday’s Scared of the Dark episode, former Love Island star Chloe Burrows felt the strain.
The action-packed programme, hosted by actor Danny Dyer, has eight celebrities living in complete darkness for eight days while being continually recorded. The group must complete tasks in order to keep their spot on the show and win meals or goodies.
To exit ‘The Bunker’ in true I’m A Celebrity fashion, the celebs must yell, ‘I’m Scared of The Dark.’ They are led into the light at this moment.
Chris Eubank, Paul Gascoigne, Scarlett Moffatt, Chris McCausland, Donna Preston, Max George, and Nicola Adams join the 27-year-old TV personality.
When asked if she was afraid of the dark, she said, ‘Yes, 10 out of 10.’
The group was requested to form a line from the most terrified to the least terrified of the dark, with Chloe at the head of the line, followed by actress Donna.
The couple was transported to the Hanger first to begin their first task, which included a tasty supper.
Before the task started, an emotional Chloe said : ‘I can’t do this, I can’t. I’m scared of the dark. I physically don’t it, I feel like I’m going to throw up.’
‘That was so horrid,’ she said while she was in the Vault.
‘I’m scared of the dark and the unknown and she said ‘you’re not alone’ and not knowing what was coming got me panicked and I couldn’t move and I couldn’t breathe.
‘I don’t know what to do.’
Viewers instantly expressed their sympathy for the former islander, with one writing, ‘Fair play Chloe, ain’t no way I could do that.’
‘Feel a bit sorry for Chloe, bless her,’ another added.
‘Help I’m literally crying at Chloe crying,’ a third person wrote.
Scared of the Dark returns tomorrow at 9pm on Channel 4.
