Viewers of Saturday Night Takeaway are wondering if ‘Shrek is okay’ after the green monster took a horrific fall.
We’d like to add that no animals were killed during Ant and Dec‘s famous ITV show, but Shrek did have a mishap.
A slew of colourful personalities hit the stage in a part of the event that also featured Daisy May Cooper and Claudia Winkleman.
Nevertheless, after performing in the studio, Shrek seemed to have misjudged his step and stumbled.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed the incident on Twitter, with one saying: ‘Is Shrek okay after he decked it? #SaturdayNightTakeaway.’
‘Can somebody please check on Shrek?!’ a viewer demanded, while another sympathised: ‘Poor Shrek.’
Stephen Mulhearn spotted the moment and assured the audience that Shrek was ‘totally OK’ after joking about going to A&E.
Let’s hope Shrek is having some rest and relaxation.
During last night’s show, Rihanna asked Nick if he would legally adopt her, and the crowd burst into tears.
After of course saying yes, an emotional Nick said: ‘It means everything, she’s an absolute diamond. It’s priceless.’
