Natalie Imbruglia has admitted her two-year-old son nearly spoiled her big Masked Singer UK moment before Saturday’s grand final.
The Torn singer was unveiled as Panda over the weekend as judges Rita Ora, Mo Gilligan, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall – plus host Joel Dommett – were amazed to see her behind the elaborate costume.
Not everyone was quite so shocked though, as Natalie admitted she actually told her son Max about her appearance on the show because she was sure he wouldn’t be able to say anything to ruin the surprise.
Appearing on Monday’s This Morning, she said: ‘I thought I’d be safe to tell my two year old son, he can’t really speak yet. So I was showing him little clips ’cause he loves pandas.
‘So then we were at the airport coming home from Australia and this little girl had a wheel bag with Panda on the back of it, and he just runs up and goes, “Mummy! Mummy!” Rumbled!’
The 47-year-old star revealed he son – and his love for pandas – was her inspiration behind signing up for the hit ITV show.
