The 2024 season of The Masked frontman UK concluded last night, with Piranha, aka McFly frontman Danny Jones, flying to triumph in the season finale.
In the shocking final episode, the other two finalists, Cricket and Bigfoot, were revealed to be music sensation Lemar and The Last Leg TV actor Alex Brooker, respectively.
Danny’s amazing version of Céline Dion’s It’s All Coming Back to Me Now left judges Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross and guest judge Rob Brydon from Gavin and Stacey in amazement when he was presented.
Fans are now anxious for him to take a big step forward in his career, having seen his potential grow in McFly for over 20 years.
After watching Piranha belt out banger after banger on The Masked Singer, singing with unlimited levels of passion and power, one fan called Karis wrote on X: ‘Gonna need danny jones to release an album of power ballad covers after this.’
Another named Jon praised Danny and Lemar, remarking: ‘I want an album of every performance Piranha and Cricket has done. I’ll be listening to those on YouTube on repeat. Danny Jones needs to release It’s All Coming Back To Me Now as a single. And Lemar How Deep Is Your Love. Class!’

We certainly want Danny to create a power ballad album!
In addition to McFly’s repertoire, the 37-year-old musician has previously recorded solo songs.
In 2019, he released his EP, which included the tunes Muddy Water, Bad Habits, $igns, Talk In The Morning, and Without Me.
His song Is This Still Love was published in 2018, and Do Not Worry came out in 2020.
However, it is obvious to observe… There is a need for more solo music from Danny!
Danny tweeted a wonderful video of his kid reacting to being unmasked when The Masked Singer UK 2024’s final aired, since he had no idea his father was participating.
Reacting to the video, Fool Me Once star Michelle Keegan commented on Instagram: ‘Awwwww bless him.’
‘To be fair this was my reaction too..,’ added The Masked Singer presenter Joel Dommett.
Danny is married to Georgia Horsley, former Miss England.
They married in August 2014 and had their son Cooper Alf Jones in January 2018.
