Olivia Hawkins of Love Island has reacted to suggestions that she is a ‘villain’ following her time in the villa.
Liv, 27, was ousted last week following an intense few months in which she was pied by Tom Clare and clashed with Kai Fagan, Jessie Wynter, and Zara Lackenby-Brown before marrying Maxwell Samuda and becoming ‘official’.
However, viewers at home found the girls’ behaviour to be unsettling, with Cinema Night eliciting over 300 complaints to Ofcom over their ‘toxic’ behaviour.
‘It was never about the girls bashing the boys. I had many times when I was in tears that wasn’t shown on TV. There were real emotions,’ she told The Sun.
‘Maybe it was a case of big personalities clashing, it was so intense and arguments are inevitable when we were in a confined space together 24 hours a day.
‘But it was definitely not a case of toxic femininity. When people meet me they will see the real me, I’m definitely not a villain.’
Olivia and Maxwell made their red carpet debut at the UK premiere of John Wick 4 on Monday night in London’s Leicester Square.
And as they were having the most of their lives, their Love Island colleagues were getting washed over the talent show, which airs every series and demonstrates how, well, talent-less they are.

Even the Love Island subtitles couldn’t help but mock trumpeter Casey O’Gorman and Tom Clare, who did an intriguing version of Bruno Mars’ Just The Way You Are.
Nothing, of course, can ever compare to Indiyah Polack’s recorder performance or Millie Court’s piano performance, which became one of the finest memes of all time.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
