Kim Woodburn is unsurprised by Holly Willoughby‘s comments as she returns to This Morning.
Holly appeared on the programme for the first time since Phillip Schofield stood down on May 18 and subsequently admitted to lying about an affair with a young runner on the show.
She began the programme by asking whether the audience were okay, before stating it felt’very weird indeed’ to be there without Phil, as she now co-hosted with Josie Gibson.
Holly was heard holding back tears as she admitted she felt ‘shaken troubled, let down,’ and had given ‘our love and support to someone who was not telling the truth.’
Long one of Holly’s biggest critics, Kim was invited on to the Dan Wootton show on Monday night to give her opinion of whether she ‘believed what Holly had to say this morning.’
To which Kim replied: ‘Absolutely not. The little b***h.’
It’s not the first time Kim has used that phrase about Holly, and she went on to say on Monday night that Holly was ‘rubbing it in’ and’should be fired.’
Kim, also insulting Holly as a ‘silly b****,’ went on to defend Phillip, saying ‘what does he have to apologise for? He’s just had an affair as a gay man.’
The star had previously slammed Phillip as ‘nasty’ and ‘two-faced, ‘claiming she ‘didn’t feel sorry for him.’
Also on the show was Joanna Jarjue, who defended Holly and said it was ‘right of her to address the elephant in the room’ as to do otherwise would ‘have shown a lack of respect for the viewers.’
‘She said just about enough. She addressed the fact Phillip lied, it was right for her to address it and move on,’ she said.
In her opening statement on Monday’s This Morning, Holly also said it was ‘equally hard to see the toll that it’s taken on [Phil’s] own mental health,’ after he said in an interview with the BBC that he understood how the late Caroline Flack felt before she took her own life.
‘I hope that we start this new chapter and get back to a place of warmth and magic that this show holds for all of us, we can find strength in each other.’
Holly had first stated on social media following Phillip’s retirement from This Morning that the studio ‘wouldn’t feel the same’ without him.
However, when it was revealed that he had lied about his friendship with a man on the programme 30 years his junior, whom he had helped gain a position on TV, she expressed ‘anger’ at having been lied to.
Dan Wootton Tonight airs weekdays from 9pm on GB News.
