Hayden Panettiere has entered the race for season three of White Lotus, and we wholeheartedly support her.
The 33-year-old actress took a brief break from acting before returning with a vengeance as Kirby Reed in Scream 6.
Following the release of the slasher sequel, the Nashville favourite has already set her sights on a new project.
During an interview with E! News, she was asked what series she would like to join next, and she immediately said the upcoming White Lotus series.
‘White Lotus,’ Hayden said without even skipping a beat. ‘I want to do it so bad. I want to do it, like Tom Cruise-jumping-on-Oprah’s-couch bad.’
When it was suggested that her imaginary character could somehow weave into Tanya McQuoid’s narrative, the mother of one demonstrated how far she would go to cooperate with Jennifer Coolidge.
‘She is my favorite, I love her,’ she added. ‘I will be her anything – bag holder, shoe shiner, I will be her guardian angel, I will be her long-lost child.
‘I will be whatever she wants me to be.’
Honestly? Same.
Jennifer has received a lot of love and admiration for her role as the quirky Tanya in the first two seasons of the HBO Max drama.
However, audiences were heartbroken when her character died while attempting to flee a boat in the last minutes of the season finale, after discovering a covert conspiracy to kill her on board.
She shot her way to escape, but perished while attempting to jump onto a neighbouring tender boat rather than utilising the steps at the back.
Jennifer gave major spoilers during her acceptance speech at the Golden Globes in January, after winning the award for outstanding performance by an actor in a supporting role.
She made the most of her time on stage, heaping praise on programme creator Mike White while releasing a massive surprise.
‘You have given me hope. You’ve given me a new beginning, even though this is the end, because you did kill me off, but it doesn’t matter, because even if this is the end, you changed my life in a million different ways,’ she said.
‘If you don’t know Mike White, this is what you should know. He’s worried about the world. He’s worried about people. He’s worried about friends of his that aren’t doing well, he’s always worried about people.
‘You’re worried about people, and he really is one of the greatest people I’ve ever met. He gives me so much excitement to be, you make people want to live longer. Mike, I love you to death.’
