Big Brother viewers believe they are missing out on significant action this season.
The legendary reality series returned to ITV screens this month following a five-year hiatus, with AJ Odudu and Will Best at the helm.
So far, Big Brother 2023 has received rave reviews, with millions voting in the first two evictions and shattering watching figures records in a quest to get their BB fix.
Viewers, on the other hand, are demanding a dramatic change in the show’s framework because they believe producers are ‘leaving out’ essential parts.
thus, as we all know, each Big Brother episode recaps the previous day’s happenings, thus Monday’s programme shows all of the house drama from Sunday, Tuesday’s recaps Monday’s shenanigans, and so on.
However, there is presently no show on a Saturday, which has irritated people.
Instead, on a Sunday night, they receive a one-hour show that aggregates the repercussions from Friday night’s live eviction and the weekend’s house occurrences so far.
Big Brother supporters are displeased, claiming that 12 hours of footage is being left on the editing room floor when it should be televised.
Venting on Twitter, one fan wrote: ‘Still not sold on this no show on Saturday, Sunday show covers Friday and Saturday format. Just doesn’t seem fair on the housemates to suggest an accurate picture of the mood and relationships in 48 hours in the house can be summed up in 48 minutes.’
‘If were not going to get a Saturday show then the Sunday show needs to be longer… thanks for coming to my ted talk’, another wrote.
Another agreed that Sunday episodes ‘should be at least an hour and a half.’
‘Can we just have a Saturday episode please? No idea why we have to miss the bulk of what happens on a Friday for no reason?’, one viewer asked.

#bbuk I don't feel like we are seeing enoug, I'm getting inherent Love Island production vibes, rather than social experiment big brother vibes. We need to be seeing more than 6 hours a week!! I think maybe a longer show on Sunday or maybe a Saturday 2 hour show!!

I feel they've left out so much. We didn't see anything from Friday daytime. And now it's Saturday late afternoon 🤔#BBUK

When another argued that housemates probably just spend most of Friday ‘getting ready and dressed up for the eviction’, the fan argued that it’s still ‘a whole day of conversation’.
Others stated that Saturdays are now the ‘worst’ day because of the absence of BB and that they ‘can’t handle’ with the break.
Devotees of Big Brother may watch the live feed on ITVX in the late hours of Saturday night, but many aren’t content.
The love triangle between Jordan, Henry, and Matty, which has everyone riveted as Jordan brazenly flirts with Matty while Henry fawns from the sidelines, is one of the house activity fans believe they are losing out on.
In a startling turn of events, Zak was also ousted at the second eviction, while NHS nurse Kerry was left in tears as the throng outside screamed for her to be evicted.
Kerry revealed in the Diary Room that she was worried for her family’s safety while she was in the home after hearing the chanting.
There’s no doubting she’s been one of the primary stars of the programme this season, with her outbursts and altercations with other residents causing quite a commotion.
However, the other candidates were surprised to see that viewers were not the greatest fans of Kerry, so there’s no question that the third week of nominations will have viewers on the edge of their seats.
Only make-up artist Farida and model Zak have been voted out of the social experiment thus far, but with only four weeks before the final, we may expect some surprises…
Big Brother continues at 9pm tonight on ITV2 and ITVX.
