Eamonn Holmes kept his followers up to date on his recovery from different health issues.
The 63-year-old presenter has spoken up about his recuperation after breaking his shoulder at the end of last year, forcing him to leave GB News.
He previously described his ‘hellish’ recuperation following a major back procedure after tumbling down the stairs and breaking his shoulder.
The journalist highlighted his progress in his most recent Instagram post, posting a video of himself sitting and standing on his own.
He penned: ‘This might look easy to you but believe me this was an amazing achievement for me…
‘Thanks to everyone at @neurokinex Gym for helping me to get back on my feet bit by bit.’

Fellow celebrities and fans showed Eamonn love, with TV personality Ant Middleton writing: ‘Yes Eamonn…There is no end to the road, just progression! Do what needs to be done and more.’
Former EastEnders actress Martine McCutcheon added: ‘You are looking so much stronger and well – it’s all paying off Eamonn! You are such a trooper. Give gorgeous Ruth a big cuddle from me please.’
Eamonn sent his fans a health update in December, calling his recuperation “soul shattering.”
He wrote on Twitter: ‘Worked hard at my physio this morning. Very tiring but I’ve now sat on my backside for 5 hours and feel bad about doing nothing.
‘Lack of mobility & depending on others stops me doing really simple things.
‘For peace of mind I feel another round of foot exercises coming on.’
He then added in a comment: ‘Relying is soul destroying’ after a fan wrote: ‘I feel your pain I had 6 months of physio 2 hours a night 5 a week. I hated relying on folk. But the one thing was NO one will ever understand how awful Physio is and how exhausting.’
Eamonn confessed at the end of 2021 that his health issues have had an impact on his family, who assist him with daily duties.
He told The Sun: ‘I don’t walk — it’s more of a wobble. It has been very difficult this year. My problem is a trapped sciatic nerve, but I don’t even know quite how it initially happened.
‘For months now I haven’t been able to walk, sometimes at all, and it has really taken its toll on everyone around me too. I can’t bend down to pick things up so Ruth ends up having to wait on me, and I know my sons particularly are a bit embarrassed by the way I move around.’
