One of this season’s Love Island contestants has been accused of ‘homophobic’ bullying.
Kodie Murphy is one of this year’s bombshells on the show, and he’s already made his debut.
However, after being named to the Casa squad, the 20-year-old was subjected to a slew of allegations.
‘What a way to end pride month, a boy who I went secondary school with who bullied me for being gay is put on love island,’ one person tweeted.
Someone else added: ‘I second this. I’ve seen it happen from Kodie.’
Love Island has already indicated that it will not tolerate disrespectful or abusive language.
They will also be given practical aid following their eviction, such as counselling on money, management, social media, and readjusting to life back home.
The welfare team will stay in touch for at least 14 months, and islanders will attend at least eight therapy sessions, with further assistance offered as needed.
Molly Marsh claimed after her leaving last week that she will ‘absolutely wait’ for Zachariah Noble, despite newbie Kady McDermott’s relationship with him.
‘I want to see him when he comes out and I want to carry on where we left off, because I think there’s still unfinished conversations and more to get to know about each other,’ she said.
She also acknowledged that she expected him to follow her out of the villa.
‘Yeah, there was definitely a part of me that thought, “Come home with me.” I thought, “Let’s go and we can carry this on.” But it’s his journey as well and he probably needs to keep himself a little bit open and see if there is something there,’ Molly revealed.
‘Me and Zach had said to each other we can’t be fully closed off yet and it will take time to get there. But it was heading to that, we were quite close to being that,’ she continued.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
