Denise Welch used the watershed as little more than a suggestion, going into detailed detail on Loose Women about a sex app.
The panel was discussing an app that helps couples living together monitor duties when the actress decided she was bored and wanted to talk about something else.
‘What does fascinate me is one I heard about a few weeks ago… it’s basically how to keep a long-distance love relationship alive,’ she remarked on the show on Friday.
She informed other panellists Frankie Bridge, Kaye Adams, and Jane Moore that a ‘friend’ had told her about the app and went into significant detail about how it operated.
‘The girl has something that goes in,’ she generously demonstrated, ‘and he has a tube.’
‘And on the app you do jiggy jigs with each other.’
After being accused of making this up, she furiously replied: ‘I have not, no I have not!’
She even had the Collins dictionary name for it: ‘Teledildonics.’
Jane was then asked what the man was doing with the tube, a question she may have regretted asking because she received a very direct answer.
‘Well he puts his willy in the tube. As if that was you,’ Denise replied matter-of-factly.
An absolutely scandalised Frankie gasped and asked: ‘Are we allowed to say that?’
To which Denise shrugged and said: ‘Well I’ve said it now.’
The women then went on to discuss the colour of their poop and whether they would ever drink it for health reasons, before welcoming Gillian McKeith to the show and asking her about sneaking in items to I’m A Celebrity by hiding condoms in her knickers.
Denise’s son Matty Healy is widely speculated to be dating Taylor Swift, and the panel recently grew ecstatic about the prospect of having her on the programme.
In fact, one of the first comments from British fans was shock that Denise and Tim Healy may be Taylor’s future in-laws.
(Which Tim then responded to asking what exactly would be so funny about that.)
Addressing the speculation on an episode earlier this month, Charlene White said: ‘Apparently our Denzy’s son, 1975 frontman Matty Healy is dating Taylor Swift.
‘Now you guys will know as much as we do, so we can’t confirm or deny anything, of course we can’t, but say it were true, should we be buying a hat? Will we be going to the wedding? Should we have Taylor on the show? It’s very exciting!’
She added that Denise could be ‘her mother-in-law.’
