Christine Quinn has finally put an end to any speculation about her return to Selling Sunset.
The real estate mogul rose to prominence thanks to the Netflix program, which opened the doors to the opulent Oppenheim Group headquarters and all of its drama.
The 34-year-old startled viewers when she seemed to leave the show at the conclusion of season five, and has since launched her own company.
She was asked if she would ever launch a Selling Sunset return after being revealed as Scorpio on Masked Singer US on Wednesday night, and she didn’t hold back.
‘Oh, my gosh, never. I would never come back in a million years,’ the mom-of-one said. ‘But that doesn’t mean I’m not going to do TV anymore. It doesn’t mean I’m not going to do fun things anymore.
‘But absolutely not. I mean, it’s… no. I have been asked by some of the girls like, “I have a birthday party. Can you please come to my birthday party?” And I’m like, “No, not in a million years.”’
So that’s a no, right?
Christine made a brief return to our screens in The Masked Singer, and her time in the Scorpio costume left viewers disappointed.
She opened the night with a performance of Cyndi Lauper’s Girls Just Want To Have Fun, followed by a version of Duran Duran’s Hungry Like A Wolf in a battle royale round versus Doll.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to keep the author in the competition, and the reveal shocked judges Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Nicole Scherzinger.
She couldn’t stop raving about her experience as she spilled the beans on what led to her presence.
‘I was so excited. I mean, it’s something that I manifested for sure, because I’m a big fan of the show. I’ve watched it for years. And I always had so much respect and just admiration for people that were able to get out of their comfort zone and do that,’ she continued to Entertainment Weekly.
‘I think even if you are a performer, it’s a whole different world to get up there on stage and in that costume. It’s so different. And for me, I’m not a performer like that. I’m not a musician or anything.
‘So, it was just really, really, really fun to get out of my head and be able to do that and perform and just ultimately really have fun. That’s what the show is about – you don’t take yourself seriously -and that’s what was so great about it.’
