Celebrity Big Brother is returning to ITV in a couple of days, with a slew of reported names set to join the cast.
In a teaser video uploaded last week on the show’s main social media platforms, hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best announced the start date of the 2024 series.
‘Guys, the wait is now almost over,’ AJ, 36, said before revealing the exact air date for Celebrity Big Brother: The Launch.
Will, 38, added: ‘It’s going to be absolutely live. That is gonna be the first time anyone sees those housemates. I cannot wait, it’s so soon.’ You and me both Will.
The two then began humorously worrying about what they would be wearing. We’re thinking about getting some fuzzy PJs and slippers if it helps.
Celebrity Big Brother start date and time revealed
Celebrity Big Brother 2024 starts on Monday, March 4 at 9pm with the live launch programme – which will air on ITV1 and simultaneously on STV, ITVX and STV Player.

Leaving luxury behind, the celebrities will participate in nominations and difficult activities while maintaining no communication with the outside world. Of course, hundreds of cameras will record their every action since Big Brother is constantly monitoring.
Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live will air after the main show each night, with the presenters, special guests, and fans analysing the house events. It will also be the sole location to see the evictees’ initial live interviews.
Following then, the live stream of Celebrity Big Brother will commence. Viewers will be able to watch live footage till the early hours of the morning seven nights a week.
Only time will tell who will win the social experiment and popularity test in 2024. More importantly, we want to know who will create the next popular social media moment.
Who is going into the Celebrity Big Brother 2024 house?
In the first CBB teaser, ‘celebrities’ used things like shopping bags and a fluffy puppy to hide their faces from the paparazzi.
AJ and Will come and say: ‘Ooh they can run…’ and ‘But there’s one place they can’t hide.’
Despite keeping the celebrity candidates a mystery until launch night, there has been a line-up leak that has left fans perplexed, as well as several other rumoured celebs set to join the line-up.
Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Kate Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith, and X Factor winners Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh may be unpacking their bags at Garden Studios.
The ensemble might possibly include entrepreneur Levi Roots, EastEnders actor Max Bowden, and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK standout Bimini Bon Boulash.
