Bobby Brazier of Strictly Come Dancing has’snubbed’ three of his former co-stars on Instagram.
The model, 20, who competed in the BBC ballroom competition with Dianne Buswell, 34, does not follow fellow contestants comic Les Dennis, radio presenter Nikita Kanda, and EastEnders actor Nigel Harman on social media.
The remaining 2023 cast members are Amanda Abbington, Zara McDermott, Jody Cundy, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Angela Rippon, Layton Williams, Eddie Kadi, Adam Thomas, Angela Scanlon, Annabel Croft, and Ellie Leach.
Nigel has also not following the Strictly cast on Instagram, including his partner Katya Jones and professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin.
Nigel, 51, meanwhile, only follows 13 accounts in total, which may explain why he hasn’t made the switch.
Meanwhile, Bobby’s’snub’ might simply be an innocent mistake, but on Strictly, he had a great relationship with Dianne, whom he previously hailed as a ‘diamond’ and was frequently seen larking about with.
While Bobby did not win the Glitterball Trophy, one expert believes he will outperform winner Ellie, who won the popular vote alongside professional dancer Vito Coppola.
According to brand and cultural expert Nick Ede, he might be on track to become the ‘UK’s Timothée Chalamet’ due to his ‘classic good looks, fantastic dancing abilities, and acting talents.’
Explaining how Bobby’s career could expand into the luxury market, Nick continued: ‘I think that he will have a massive future ahead of him where he will become the face of many international luxury beauty and fashion brands.
‘I can see Dior grabbing him to replace Johnny Depp when they decide to retire him from Eau Sauvage.’
‘He has the potential to earn millions and have millions of fans worldwide too.’
He’s even said to have booked his next big role after Strictly, anchoring a BBC travel programme alongside his father, Jeff Brazier, 44.
According to a source, Bobby, son of late Big Brother star Jade Goody, is also being flooded with offers to act in West End productions, sign record agreements, and make commercial appearances shortly.
‘From the start of Strictly, Beeb bosses realised that they had a serious star on their hands – and the fact that he made it to the final was a complete bonus,’ they said.
So they’re desperate to keep him on board, not least since Bobby is seen as a home-grown star, having had his big break on EastEnders.
‘The travelogue show would be a shrewd way to tempt him to stay with the Beeb and is likely to be among the first of many projects they’ll tempt him with – many with a fat pay cheque too,’ they added when speaking to The Sun.
Bobby began his modelling career in 2020, with his runway debut at Milan Fashion Week.
Then, last year, he joined the BBC soap EastEnders as Freddie Slater, a role that earned him the Rising Star National Television Award earlier this year.
Strictly Come Dancing is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
