Ahead of the premiere of his most recent film, Toby Sebastian declared that he would never rule out appearing with his well-known younger sister Florence Pugh.
The 31-year-old celebrity is one of four gifted siblings who grew up in an artistic family.
Toby, a performer in his own right, has a long list of acting credentials, including roles in Barely Lethal and Game of Thrones, in addition to a successful musical career that has seen him tour the UK.
His appearance in a comedic film with a green message that also starred pop legend Kate Nash and Saoirse-Monica Jackson from The Derry Girls gave him another acting credit.
Toby considered how his sister’s career as an Oscar nominee had influenced his own efforts to be successful in the same area as Coffee Wars was ready to premiere in Britain.
He exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘For me, it’s completely normal because I remember when I got I think maybe my second or third professional acting job, she then got her first at the same time and there was a three or four year period where we both land a job at the same time.
They were both quite large in their own unique ways, and I frequently tell people that having a sibling who is tremendously successful is the finest circumstance imaginable.
‘I wouldn’t want any one of my siblings to not be doing well. If someone that you love can excel in their career, then as far as I’m concerned that’s the absolute dream!’
The world is engulfed in Florence Pugh-mania because to her legendary fashion sense and faultless acting abilities.
After appearances in Don’t Worry Darling, Little Women, and Midsommer, the 27-year-old’s profile skyrocketed as the media swarm grew thicker.
Toby described what it was like to see his sister become a topic of international media attention: Things grow gradually, so I’m used to it, so it’s nothing new to me.
‘Obviously with success in this industry comes fame and people recognise you and all that stuff.
‘I don’t live with it on a day-to-day basis but she rises to the task of everything that she does.
‘I don’t know a more professional person or I’m yet to meet one who is as professional across the board as she is.
He went on to predict a time when the talented duo would star alongside each other in a film: ‘There’s no doubt that I’m sure at some point we’ll do something in the future.
‘When that is, I don’t know but I would’ve thought yeah, absolutely. We’ve all grown up performing and working together and so anything’s possible.
‘At the moment we’re both on two different paths but as a family, we’ve always created – so yeah!’
In the influential feature film Coffee Wars, which will contribute 100% of its profits to organisations who support the environment and animal welfare, Toby plays Kate’s character’s adversary Rudy.
The comedic film centres on coffee enthusiast Jo (Kate Nash), who enters the World Barista Championships vegan in an effort to win a huge cash prize.
Coffee Wars is available to stream in the UK on Amazon Prime from April 17.
