The reality star and Skims mogul has given us all sorts of holiday envy as she shared what appeared to be throwback shots from her recent trip to the Bahamas alongside Saturday Night Live lover Pete.
She simply captioned the shots, ‘Mother Nature’, despite, not really, having a jot to do with the aforementioned mother nature. Classic Kim.
The 41-year-old was seen laying around the sand in a string two-piece bikini, walking along the shoreline and also having a wow of a time in the shallows as waves lapped at her.
In the third shot from her Instagram carousel, however, was a foreboding figure in shadow-form that some wondered might be Kim’s rumoured boyfriend Pete, 28.
Many a fan shared in the comments their feelings it was the comedian-turn-Instagram boyfriend snapping the pic, as one mused: ‘The shadow is Pete we all agree right,’ and another wrote: ‘Me zooming in to see if that is Pete.’
In fact, that was a common thread, as another echoed: ‘Not me zooming on the shadow of the photographer to see if it was Pete…..’
However, some believed the pics were taken by her friend Simon Huck, who was also holidaying with the pair, after he commented: ‘Take me back.’
Simon has also shared photos of himself gallivanting on the tropical beach alongside Kim, who was clad in the same bikini as her throwback, which further suggests it’s, heartbreakingly, not Pete in the pics.
A fan wrote: ‘Aw, is this actually your shadow and not Pete’s, Simon? I won’t be able to sleep tonight until I know for sure We love you but we need Pete insta official , ‘ while another suggested under his comment: ‘I really think you took these photos… I just don’t think Pete has the photo skills ’
While Pete and Kim’s relationship seems to be going from strength to strength, after they were linked after Kim’s appearance on SNL in October, it would seem the star’s ex-husband Kanye West’s not best pleased.
A leaked snippet of a song, thought to be an upcoming release from the rapper, references the comedian, with the lyric: ‘God saved me from the crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s a**.’
The new track, titled Eazy, is expected to be released soon. Kanye is known to be a fan of a last-minute change though, so whether it appears on the final cut, only time will tell.
Kim and Kanye, 44, divorced last year, with the rapper previously being open about how he wanted to get her back.
Sadly Kim and Pete seem completely inseparable, enjoying various date nights in New York City and LA, and their recent tropical jaunt.
A source recently said of the couple: ‘Kim and Pete are very in sync right now. They’re very in step with each other and the relationship is easy. They’re getting closer and closer and are a really great pair.’
