Maya Jama‘s fans would have identified a very recognisable voice in her recent social media post as she continues to tease her romance with Stormzy.
Fans are still buzzing after the Love Island presenter and rapper were spotted walking hand-in-hand on vacation in Greece last week. It verified reports that they had restarted their romance after parting in August 2019 after four years of dating.
They’re back together and doing normal couple things like going for a romantic walk on the beach and larking around in the pool… and experimenting with drink machines at a posh lounge.
Maya, 29, recorded herself selecting a glass of fresh lemon water on the swanky gizmo with a touch screen on her Instagram stories on Tuesday.
‘That’s some fantastic technology,’ the TV host remarked as a man’s voice – clearly Stormzy’s – is heard in the background saying: ‘It’s really good.’
It’s unclear if Maya and Stormzy, 30, have left paradise yet, but Maya uploaded photographs of herself boarding a helicopter and a private aircraft on Monday, implying they’ve already departed Greece and may have dodged the current travel mayhem afflicting British tourists.
When Maya tweeted photos of her lavish £2,700-per-night Greek property, which looked very similar to the setting depicted in Stormzy’s TikTok video, fans deduced that the duo were on vacation together.
Photos emerged of the two walking around Hydra Island holding hands, looking every inch the devoted couple. They were all smiles and looked to be deep in discussion before boarding a private boat and basking in the sun and stunning vistas.
Stormzy allegedly paid for the lavish vacation as a birthday present for Maya, who turned 29 on August 14, and certainly no cost was spared.
Earlier this month, the singers were spotted together for the first time in years as Maya returned from her Ibiza vacation to attend Stormzy’s All Points East event in London. They appeared to be in good spirits as they spoke backstage, giving optimism that they had reunited after four years apart.
According to a source, Stormzy’s mother is to blame for the reunion, as she allegedly played Cupid.
‘Stormzy is really open about wanting to settle down and have kids one day and he knows Maya is “The One”,’ the insider told The Sun.
Maya was temporarily engaged to NBA great Ben Simmons until their divorce in 2022 while their years apart. Stormzy, on the other hand, is thought to have stayed unmarried and stated that his heart was always with Maya, confessing that he’d struggle to love anybody else as much as he loved her.
Stormzy had denied cheating on Maya but admitted to ‘disrespecting’ her during their relationship.
