Oops. Stacey Solomon had a massive nursing blunder that left her feeling, well, starkers.
The Loose Women anchor, 33, has three children with husband Joe Swash, the most recent being daughter Belle in February, after son Rex, three, and daughter Rose, one.
This week, Stacey got herself into a gherkin while driving Rex and Rose to a music class and, of course, told her social media followers the complete story.
‘Don’t wear a jumper dress if you want to breastfeed with dignity,’ she warned the other mums out there.
The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star stated that she attempted to nurse her newborn baby Belle while wearing a jumper dress, which did not go as planned.
She said to Instagram: ‘I am sitting outside a toggler dancing class, naked from the boob down because you can’t breastfeed in a jumper dress.’
‘I don’t know what I was thinking. Not one brain cell in my head went, “You’re not going to be able to feed in that, Stacey, you can’t wear it”.’
Stacey continued, laughing: ‘Belle was already losing it when we got in the car so I just had to feed her and hope none of the mums come over and look in.’
Thankfully, Joe, 41, was on hand to help out: ‘Luckily Joe met us for the music class so he’s outside on lookout duty.’ Phew!
Stacey applauded herself earlier this week for being a “superhuman” mother despite feeling like she was “doing a terrible job” at first.
Posting a carousel of gorgeous Instagram photos, she seized the chance to congratulate herself for completing a long day of motherhood.
Have you ever made a nursing mistake like Stacey? Now is the time to comment.
She beamed while saying: ‘Proud. Feeling like I smashed it today. Don’t mind if I sound big-headed but I feel like a superhuman today.’
‘For some reason lately, I’ve found it easy to tell myself that I’m failing or doing a rubbish job and I never tell myself how well I’m doing,’ the TV personality continued.
Stacey rose to prominence after coming third on The X Factor in 2009, trailing Olly Murs and eventual winner Joe McElderry.
Stacey won the 10th season of I’m A Celebrity a year later, where she met her husband Joe, who hosted Extra Camp. They married last summer in a beautiful ceremony at their Essex home, Pickle Cottage.
