Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash may have counted in Mississippis after a spray tan mishap turned them bright orange.
After being left with severely bronzed faces and sparkling white teeth, the husband and wife were in stitches laughing at themselves.
It’s a look that any Friends fan would recognise, quickly conjuring up images of Ross Geller accidently becoming orange in multiple botched excursions to the tanning clinic.
The couple tanned in preparation for a summer vacation with their children, but received a bit more than they bargained for, sharing the results in a gleeful video on Instagram.
‘We’ve both had a spray tan,’ Stacey began before already bursting into laughter looking at herself in the camera.
‘We’re going to end up paler when we come home.’
‘Look how white my teeth are,’ Joe despaired as Stacey agreed, adding that because her teeth ‘aren’t my real teeth, they really glow.’
‘Your skin tone now matches your ginger beard,’ she told her husband in one last friendly jibe before the camera cut out.
Stacey has subsequently shared photos of them on a plane with Rex, four, Rose, one, and seven-month-old Belle, revealing that they’re heading for 10 days of sunshine.
Stacey wrote alongside the cute family snaps: ‘And so the adventure begins ✈️🥲 So excited for ten days of summer with my whole world 🌎😭 P.S the big boys are here too they were just asleep as soon as we got on the plane 😂.’
After having a short hiatus from work, which she recently returned to after delivering their newest child, Belle, in January, the actress is looking forward to spending time with her family.
She has Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 12, from prior partnerships, in addition to the three younger children, while Joe has Harry, 16, from a former relationship.
Stacey recently said that she was overcome with emotion as Leighton graduated from primary school and prepared to begin secondary school in September.
Sharing her pleasure, the singer shared a series of stunning photos of Leighton wearing his leavers’ jersey, which had been signed by his classmates as they had an end-of-term celebration – replete with a bouncy castle, of course.
She wrote in her caption: ‘Primary School – done ✔️🖤😭 Leighton we are so proud of you. The time has come to spread your beautiful wings and fly into the next chapter. 🥹
‘The last 11 years have just flown by. Too quickly for my liking. But keep being the most kind, caring human, keep your heart open & go and be whoever you want to be, you’ve got this I promise.
