Sofia Vergara is now enjoying the (very hot) weather in the Italian town of Ravello.
The 51-year-old actress went to Instagram on Monday to inform her 30.3 million followers that her European vacation was coming to an end, and she looked stunning while doing it.
The Modern Family star also reacted on the hot heat that has been sweeping parts of Europe and guzzled water while dressed in a trendy leopard print swimwear.
Sofia was shown in one post jumping from a sunbed while clutching a bottle of water.
In another, the Colombian beauty exploited her best angles while tanning, writing: ‘Last days of vacation! Ravello, I adore you even when you’re hot!!!’
After an anticyclone system known as Cerberus spread northward, European countries are facing hazard to life alerts owing to searing temperatures.
However, after Cerberus wears out, Italian analysts predict a second heatwave, dubbed Charon, to replace it.
This could push temperatures back up to 43°C in Rome and as high as 47°C in Sardinia, MailOnline reports.
Cerberus, named after Hades’ three-headed hound in Greek mythology, will see temperatures surge beyond 45°C by the end of the week across Spain, Italy, Greece, and Turkey.
The Italian islands of Sardinia and Sicily are expected to bore the brunt of the scorching heat, with temperatures reaching 48.8°C, according to the BBC.
Officials from Italy’s health ministry have issued red alert warnings for ten major cities, including Florence and Rome.
A red alert signifies that the heat is so high that it threatens the health of the whole population, not just susceptible populations.
Nicola Fratoianni, an Italian politician, stated, “We are experiencing an awful heatwave.” Heat-related deaths are unimaginable; we should be taking precautions to avoid catastrophes like these during the warmest hours of the day.’
