Scarlett Moffatt is overjoyed to have given birth to her first child.
The 32-year-old former Gogglebox star announced her pregnancy yesterday, along with some private photos from the hospital with her partner Scott Dobinson.
The singer was overjoyed and said she ‘couldn’t stop weeping’ when she saw the baby, who she disclosed was delivered at 35 weeks.
She also revealed their newborn boy’s name: Jude Xavier Dobinson.
In February, the actress announced she was expecting a child, which she subsequently revealed would be a boy.
Scarlett has now provided an update to her admirers, taking to social media with two fresh photos of the tiny family’s growth.
Scarlett may be seen in one photo, surrounded by balloons, holding the sleeping infant and smiling at the camera.
The presenter captioned the stunning shot, ‘My wonderful boy.’
Another photo showed Jude in a crib wearing the cutest bear outfit, and his pleased mother remarked that baby was’so little.’
‘Baby Jude is so little, even his first size is a little baggy, bless him,’ Scarlett remarked.
The ecstatic new mother turned to social media to announce Jude’s arrival, writing, ‘My dear child, I can’t stop sobbing staring at you as I can’t quite believe you’re mine.
‘You wanted to meet us early at just 35 weeks. Me & your daddy love you so much that I can’t even put this feeling into words. Our heart and soul feels complete & ready to burst. I will forever and always be grateful to be your mammy.’
The Geordie TV star continued: ‘I can’t thank @scottdobby enough & to the midwives Helen & Charlotte & all of the NHS team at Durham Hospital.
‘You will all forever hold a special place in my heart for looking after us all with such compassion. Let the baby bubble commence 💙’
Scarlett and Scott, 36, had known one other since they were 17, but they just started together in 2018.
After a brief break in 2021, the couple resumed their romance and appear to be happier than ever.
