After a seven-year IVF struggle, Alex Reid and his fiancée Nikki Manashe have received their’miracle’ twin kids.
Nikki, 36, and the Celebrity Big Brother star, 47, had their non-identical twin kids on Wednesday.
Nikki’s waters ruptured at only 18 weeks, so the wonderful news comes after a rough road.
Nikki confirmed the delivery of her bundles of joy, saying, ‘To simply hold them in my arms. I am finally finished. I have my family, and I will never return to that terrible place.
‘All those different surgeries from miscarrying and injecting myself. All those hospital appointments. It was worth it,’ she added to Daily Mail.
Nikki also revealed the adorable names of her sons: Phoenix Bobby and Hunter George.
Nikki has kept her fans and following updated throughout her pregnancy, including the terrifying time she was taken to the hospital with major pregnancy concerns.
Alex Alex, 47, of Celebrity Big Brother, had implored supporters to ‘please just pray for my family’ because he was afraid of losing his unborn children.
Nikki just discussed how the twins were doing in her womb two weeks ago, and she acknowledged that things had taken a troubling turn.
She wrote: ‘Twin 1 who’s waters broke is losing water again and he’s very small in comparison to his brother. My movement is decreasing both babies are head down ready for birth so I have 4 legs kicking my rib cage [sic].’
‘I’m not sure who is who but movement is a little less.
Nikki continued: ‘They are literally miracles and I was told yesterday by a midwife that in all her years of working she has never seen a case like me and my boys make it this far.
‘Having the love and support from all of you near and far has helped us all x [sic].’
Her post came after Alex released his own statement four days ago on Instagram with an excited caption that read: ‘In a few weeks I’m going to be a father to twin boys!!!!
‘Hospital bags are packed as we are officially on watch!!! I will know more next week [sic].
Anastasia, the couple’s one-year-old daughter, is also a parent.
