Rita Ora shifted her focus to the vast outdoors, joining ultimate explorer Bear Grylls to defy gravity.
While filming an episode for the 49-year-old wildlife presenter’s new TV programme, the singer, 32, strapped herself in and faced a 15,000-foot plummet.
Rita took part in Bear Grylls: The Challenge, which will stream on Disney+ via National Geographic and will teach her how to overcome her anxieties alongside the British explorer.
She joined a long number of celebrities, like Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch, Natalie Portman, Marvel’s Simu Liu, and Oppenheimer actress Florence Pugh, in pushing their limits with Bear’s support.
In a new promotional video for her forthcoming episode, the Let You Love Me singer hung her legs over the clouds, out of an aeroplane, proving she was ready to soar.
The Masked Singer judge was shown with a horrified expression on her face as she prepared to leap out of the airborne jet at 15,000 feet.
The unexpected couple were filming above Nevada’s Valley of Fire and eventually landed safely on the earth below.
The episode appeared to follow Rita and Bear as he taught the star how to navigate her way towards food and water as they returned to the dusty solid land.
Keeping it real, the Poison hitmaker was seen cooking a pigeon over a campfire for their evening meal.
Her appearance in the new adventure series comes after her husband, filmmaker Taika Waititi, revealed personal details about their wedding.
He said Rita proposed to him as the pair spoke out about their one-year anniversary secret wedding.
The British singer initially met the Oscar-winning New Zealand filmmaker at a BBQ he held in 2018, and they began dating in 2021 while filming in Australia.
Rita proposed to the creative on their summer vacation in Palm Springs in 2022, and they married a few weeks later on August 4.
Speaking to British Vogue, Taika said: ‘She proposed to me, and I said “yes” instantly.’
Bear Grylls: The Challenge airs tonight via National Geographic on Disney+.
