Michael Clifford, the lead guitarist for the band 5 Seconds of Summer, told everyone in the cutest way that he was going to be a dad.
The 27-year-old is the first member of his band to say that he and his 34-year-old wife Crystal Leigh Lauderdale are going to have a girl soon.
Last month, the pop-punk artist shared a photo of himself and Crystal kissing while holding her pregnant belly and ultrasound scans.
‘You’re already everything 🥹,’ the dad-to-be wrote while friends and fans rushed to congratulate the couple.
In the new pictures, Michael can be seen dressed in a blue shirt and pink beanie hat as he embraces his wife, wearing a pink dress, as pink smoke surrounded them.
Unable to contain his excitement, the Australian guitarist wrote: ‘I’m gonna be a girl dad 🥹💕.’

p class=””>br />In the first picture, Michael has the biggest smile and looks up in wonder as pink confetti falls down on them.
p class=””>br />In a later picture, he looked like he was crying on his wife’s shoulder, which we can only assume is because he was excited.
p class=””>br />Michael wrote on his Instagram story, with a link to TikTok where he shared a video of everyone’s responses, “This was the craziest moment of my life lol.”
p class=””>br />Luke Hemmings, another member of the band, was seen looking shocked at the news, and it’s likely that Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin were also there.
p class=””>br />Fans were so excited for Michael to be a “girl dad” when “Baby Clifford” is born on November 11, 2023.
‘You were made to be a girl dad,’ said one fan while another wellwisher wrote: ‘Literally meant to be a girl dad omg🥹🥹🥹🥹.’
Actor Taylor Lautner, who recently appeared at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, commented an enthusiastic: ‘Let’s gooooooooooo.’
Sarah Eiseman, friend and photographer, wrote: ‘You were absolutely meant to be a girl dad 🙂 That’s going to be the most loved little girly ever. I’m still crying 🥹💗 love y’all so much.’
Michael and Crystal got married behind closed doors on their fifth anniversary, which was in 2021.
The couple had planned to get married in Bali, but because of the coronavirus pandemic, they had to put off the main celebration. However, they still wanted to do something special to mark the event.
Instead, Michael and Crystal had a “hidden save the date party” at their new home with only their wedding party, which of course included his friends.
