Amy Hart said that she will leave her newborn kid in the UK while on vacation with her partner Sam Rason.
The former Love Island actress, 30, announced the birth of her baby on Tuesday with a series of gorgeous photos of their new addition.
She updated followers after she welcomed her baby boy with a caption that read: ‘Well…. 4 days of contractions at home (which everyone told us were braxton hicks…they weren’t), 4 very short hours in the delivery suite and 5 long days in hospital later, we are home with our dreamy baby boy born at 3.31am on 3/3/23 weighing 8lbs with the most beautiful head of hair (Amy would take the 9 months of reflux again) and we are so so in love.
‘Proper introductions to come but now we’re home safe and sound. Thank you to everyone who sent their well wishes.
‘We really appreciated it over the last few days [here’s a few delivery room snaps, can’t wait to show you his beautiful, non post birth swollen face [sic]’.
Despite delivering birth, the reality star had previously planned a childless vacation with her fiancé.
The couple’s intentions to holiday at Disneyland’s Florida resort were thwarted by Amy’s pregnancy, so they rescheduled for a later date.
The ex-islander stated she was excited to show her partner the theme park without a baby in tow.
She told Giovanna Fletcher on the Journey to the Magic podcast: ‘I was supposed to be in Disney World right now, but I fell pregnant. I had a whole two-week trip planned in January.
‘But I’m still trying to convince my boyfriend that we need to go on our honeymoon minus the baby because you need to do it as adults before you go back to do all the queuing up for meeting characters, and the little rides.’
The actress revealed that her husband was not as enthusiastic about the concept as she was.
She admitted: ‘When I met my boyfriend the second conversation was “have you ever been to Disney?” No. All right, OK.
‘So, he’d been to a UK theme park that is just rides, no atmosphere and because he’s got dodgy blood pressure he went on a rollercoaster, passed out on it and then got taken off by the Saint John’s Ambulance people and had to go home.
‘I love the atmosphere and the music and the smell and just that everything is so tied in together. I’m trying to convince him that he’s going to be fine’.
